Rail Corridor Bukit Timah Train Station

Made a trip to the old defunked Bt Timah Railway. 

Just behind a bus stop where train used to run through. I remembered at my much younger days while waiting for bus to go school, could vividly recollect train passing by. I never took any train from here while they were still operating. I could recall how the approaching train sounds from far.

Started my short hike from Upper Bukit Timah near to the old "Yeo Hiap Seng" where factory used to sit (those white condos is at now)

新加坡的鐵道文化歷史并沒有那麽悠久。我從來沒有乘坐過新柔列車。在停駛之後也沒機會體驗我們的火車文化。

猶記在好多年前每天等巴士車上學的公車站後方便是火車鐵道。每當火車從遠處靠近時，轟隆隆的火車聲，響亮的鳴笛聲記憶猶新。

剛幾天前心血來潮跑到家附近改建了的鐵道。走走看看咯。活動活動舒展筋骨。大概下一次回去丹戎巴葛火車站看看。

夕陽西下天色漸暗。這裏晚上可是沒有路燈照明的還是趕緊離開。下次請早哦！😊

Entrance is to the left, short distance walk path behind bus stop leading to the rail track.

Imagined this used to be laid with train tracks with ballast. Now it has become a walking trail.

曾經的鐵軌已變成悠閑的步道，綠蔭環繞。

Light hearted trail easy walk no sweat.

踩在火車軌道上慢慢步行走馬看花。心情豁然開朗沿途風景不錯。臉不紅氣不喘的。

Government did a good job by redecorating pathways with old sleepers so nicely.

我們政府有用心把原本陳舊的火車軌鋪了木頭跟一些小碎石做成美美的步道。才沒走100公尺相機就一直在忙著拍照。

Nice Place so scenic

Train station quite small. This had been standing here fro decades and now it has entered into retirement. 

火車站不大，小小一個。承載著幾代人的記憶，悲歡離合。現在這地方成了歷史標記。

Vicinity lots of greens primitive with fresh air. walk further leads to tanjong Pagar train Station @10.2km walk a well 2hr 45min walk from here.

感覺上好像來到了別有洞天的地方。老實説要在新加坡這種寸土寸金的地方找到這種世外桃源確實不容易。...好像來到了台灣。哦好懷念鐵路便當。不知價格還維持在臺幣35 ，45？？
